BEDIO: The Final Blog Everyday in October Writing Update

Hello and happy Saturday everyone!

Today is the last Saturday of October, which means it’s the last writing update for BEDIO (in case you couldn’t tell from the title).

So what did I learn over the month?

Although it’s exhausting trying to write everyday, I noticed that my creativity has been slowly, but surely coming back. I believe that bringing back my Monday blog posts that focus on prompt-inspired creative writing helped tremendously with getting back into the creative mindset.

This challenge also provided the opportunity to go through my blog post drafts and clean out or post what I had in there, which is great since I had between 20 to 30 posts under that section πŸ˜‚

Another positive outcome from challenging myself is that I’m feeling more motivated to spend time working on writing a novel, which I don’t know if I’ll want to publish, but I definitely want to write it. There’s a lot of planning and thinking I need to do before I start writing, so I’m going to spend the last couple of months of this year doing that, and then I can start 2023 off with the actual writing.

Thank you to everyone who has followed along with my writing everyday in October challenge, even when I messed up my posts or posted blank ones πŸ˜‚ I hope you all enjoyed reading the posts as much as I did writing them!

Now, we’re not quite to the end yet, so go ahead and enjoy these last couple of days in October, and I will see you tomorrow with another new post πŸ‘»πŸπŸ’€πŸ‚
