This or That Book Tag

Happy Friday everyone!

Since yesterday’s post was a bit heavy in terms of topic and analysis, I thought it would be good to have a more light post for today! So, we’re going to go ahead and do the “This Or That” book tag, which I’ve had sitting in my drafts for quite a while… but what else is new? πŸ˜‚ I originally found it on Kimberly Faye Reads site, and I wanted to do it because I thought it looked like fun!

Now, here is the “This or That” Book tag!

READING ON THE COUCH OR IN BED?

In Bed!

MALE MAIN CHARACTER OR FEMALE MAIN CHARACTER?

I typically go for stories with a female main character πŸ‘Œ

SWEET SNACKS OR SALTY SNACKS WHILE READING?

I’ll say salty, but I generally hate eating while reading because I don’t like to get my pages all dirty from food 😝

TRILOGIES OR QUARTETS?

Trilogies

FIRST PERSON POV OR THIRD PERSON POV?

Hmmm… I think this depends on the story, but if I were to go with my more popular genre that I read (fantasy), I generally prefer third person.

READING AT NIGHT OR IN THE MORNING?

At night; it helps me fall asleep

LIBRARIES OR BOOKSTORES?

Bookstores, mostly because as a mood reader, I find it difficult to stick with a strict time window when it comes to when I want to read a book.

BOOKS THAT MAKE YOU LAUGH OR BOOKS THAT MAKE YOU CRY?

Books that make me laugh. Books don’t really make me cry though so… πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

BLACK BOOK COVERS OR WHITE BOOK COVERS?

Black books covers, they tend to look more sleek, and also don’t get dirty as easily πŸ˜‚

CHARACTER-DRIVEN OR PLOT-DRIVEN STORIES?

Character-driven; it’s fun seeing a character grow, or even learn how the narrative is driven by their perspective and biases.

That’s all I have for today! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below; otherwise I will see you tomorrow with a new post!
