What I’ve Read So Far This Year

As the first 1/3 of the year comes to an end, I figured I might as well evaluate my progress for my reading goal this year, as well as talk about what books I’ve finished.

So far this year, I’ve read 13 books, and according to the StoryGraph, I need to read 5 more books to get back on track to meet my goal of 60 books by the end of 2023.

These are the books I’ve read so far this year:

List of Books I've read this year: The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson (Book 3 of the Mistborn Trilogy), Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones, They Called Us Enemy by George Takei, Blacksad volumes 1-3, 4, and 5 by Juan Diaz Canales (author) and Juanjo Guarnido (illustrator), Dial A for Aunties by Jesse Q Sutanto, Mistakes Were Made by Meryl Wilsner, The Sunbearer Trials by Aiden Thomas, Final Girls by Riley Sager, and Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse

Currently, I am reading The Last Night at the Club by Malinda Lo, and have lots of options from my TBR to read afterward, so I’m not too worried about catching up to reach my goal.

Have you read any of these books? If so, what were your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below!

Otherwise, I will see you in the next post!

-Erin (:
