Happy Saturday everyone! I hope your weekend has been off to a great start 😊
These reflection posts are something I enjoy writing as it makes me think about why I started this challenge in the first place, and also see what I’m learning along the way. So, here we go!
This week has been amazing for me in terms of my creativity, and I think doing BEDIO is a big reason for it. I’ve fleshed out two new story ideas this week, and even though I don’t know if I want to publish them when I’m finished, I’m actually excited to start working on these ideas. It’s been so long since I’ve felt this burst of creativity in terms of story writing, and I’m excited to further develop it 🥳
BEDIO plays such a big part in this because it’s made me write consistently for a long period of time along with balancing it with my current work schedule. I’ve been using this blog challenge as an opportunity to try out different creative pursuits and bring back my creative writing posts, allowing me to get back to writing not just for fun, but also bringing back that creative aspect.
Overall, I think this year’s BEDIO has been more challenging for me than in previous years, but in a good way that’s not only helping me grow as a writer, but also go back to my roots and passion for creative writing.
