Hello everyone, and happy Friday! I can’t believe tomorrow is Halloween, and the end of the month π± October seemed to really fly by!
For those of you who don’t know, I made up my own book tag a while ago called The Starbucks and Books Challenge, and since I had a lot of fun doing it, I wanted to try creating another one!
Recently, I’ve been having this urge to just search through GIF’s (probably because I’m a weirdo… but I digress), so I thought it would be fun to come up with a GIF inspired book tag. There was originally the Book Gif Tag (I couldn’t find the original… this is about as close as I could get), where whoever tags you gives you a list of ten books, and from there, you pick a gif (along with a one sentence explanation) that best describes your feelings about the book.
And well… I decided to do something completely different with the GIFs, because why notπ€·ββοΈ Anyways, here is A Tag Full of Books and Gifs!
What book are you currently reading? Search the title, and insert the FIFTH GIF from your search results.
I’m currently reading The Bad Seed by William March, and the GIF is actually from the movie adaptation (1956).

What was the last book you read? Post the first GIF that pops up in the search.
The last book I read was The Jumbies by Tracey Baptiste… and this GIF is super random and not at all related to the book π€£

What’s your favorite book you’ve read so far this year? Search the title, and insert the first GIF that pops up.
I picked Felix Ever After (although it was a tough decision, cause there were a few books I would consider my favorites!), and this is what popped up.

If I’m going to be honest, this perfectly encapsulates how I felt by the end of the book π
Pick a book that starts with the first letter of your name in the title, and insert the THIRD GIF that pops up in your search.
The book I chose was Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine

Since both Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine and Mommie Dearest (This GIF is a scene from the movie) deal with the topic of abusive mothers, it makes sense why this would pop up. I’ve only seen parts of the movie Mommie Dearest, but from what I did watch, I don’t know if I could ever watch the whole thing.
Choose a book that takes place in your hometown, and insert the FIFTH GIF that appears from your search.
Since I thought of two books that specifically take place in my hometown, I’m just going to do both of them π
House of Broken Angels (The GIF doesn’t at ALL relate to the book π)

Crimes Against a Book Club (The Gif is from Steel Magnolias… Never seen the movie, so I have no idea if these two works share any similarities π€·ββοΈ)

A book with a cover that’s your favorite color. Insert the first Gif that appears in the search.

The Bear and The Nightingale, although I love the cover design overall! Also, this GIF captures the vibe of the book so well.

What’s your favorite book to movie adaptation? Insert the FOURTH GIF that appears in your search.
For this question, I chose Cloud Atlas.

The GIF is an example of why I preferred the movie adaptation to the book, as I had a hard time focusing on entire chapters that were written in that exact style π
Pick a book that also incorporates another passion/hobby of yours. Insert the first Gif that appears in your results.
I love baking, so I went with To All the Boys I Loved Before, and this is what came up:
Well… I wasn’t a huge fan of Peter Kavinsky, so I have nothing else to add to this answer π
For all you music lovers out there: Pick a book that you associate with your favorite genre of music. Insert the THIRD GIF that appears in your search.
Daisy Jones and the Six is about a band from the seventies, and I love some good classic rock π

FINAL QUESTION: Do you have a reading goal? How many books are you away from completing it? Or if you surpassed it, by how much? Whatever the number, search the title of the first book you read this month, and count that number and post that GIF.
My goal for this year was 45 books, and I’ve now read 47! Since I’ve surpassed my goal by 2 books, here’s the second Gif that popped up when I searched for Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood, which is a scene from the movie.
Alright, I’m going to do a Halloween Bonus Gif! Pick your favorite Halloween movie/spooky book and insert the first GIF from your search ππ»
From the Disney Channel Movie Halloweentown. I can see why I liked the movie so much, as this was pretty much me as a kid π

That’s it for A Tag Full of GIFs and Books! I’ll go ahead and tag:
Riddhi from Whispering Stories
I know y’all love doing some tags, so feel free to try this one out if you want! They also all have some great blogs, so check out their stuff! I also tag anyone else who stumbles upon this post and is interested in doing the tag; just let me know because I’d love to see your answers!
Anyways, thanks for stopping by, and I will see you tomorrow with my last post for BEDIO π±

Oh my gosh THIS IS SO CREATIVE AND THE ANSWERS ARE SO FUNNY π…I mean the gif for Diasy Jones and the Six is spot on but the rest were hilarious…
I can’t believe that you had a whole month of BEIDO! I can really see the amount of effort in having quality posts everyday… hope you’re have a good rest now (november!!)… π₯°
Ah thank you for the tag Erin! I would love love love to do this tag.π€© Maybe I could suggest you using pingbacks next time when tagging people? Instead of linking to their home page, you can link to one of their recent posts and a pingback will appear on their post, thus notifying them. π

Haha thank you for all you kind words, it was a lot of fun putting it together! And I definitely took this entire weekend off and basically didn’t do anything on WordPress until today π
Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely keep that in mind for any future tags π
