Happy Monday everyone! Hopefully you’re having a good start to your week! If not, at least you have the rest of the week for it to get better… 🤷♂️ Trying to work on being more positive over here😂
Anyways, as it’s the beginning of a new week, that means it’s time for another poetry prompt. For this time around, I’m going to be using a prompt from my Write the Poem notebook, which is:

Alright, here’s what I came up with, I hope you enjoy it!
What precious things I have found,
Wandering down this path,
Not sure where I was going,
But knowing I simply wanted to move forward.
The people I’ve met,
The experiences I’ve had,
The lessons I’ve learned,
I never would have known otherwise.
At this point,
All I have to say to myself is a simple,
Thank you.
Thank you for choosing to go on,
Even when I didn’t know what that meant,
Where that would be,
Who that would be with.
Thank you for taking those chances,
Even though they would knock me
“Off-course”
And lead me to wonder,
“What was I thinking?”
Thank you,
For simply trusting in myself,
Even though I didn’t realize,
That’s what I was doing at the time.
In the end,
I had enough faith in myself,
To handle the consequences,
No matter what they were.
