May 2023 Reading Wrap-Up

Hey everyone, I hope you had a great May! I decided to go ahead and just do another wrap-up, as it’s kind of fun to go back and see what I’ve read.

Right now, I am currently reading Sal and Gabie Break the Universe by Carlos Hernandez, as I like to read Middle Grade every once and a while, as there’s a certain creativity and fun-like nature to the writing that’s always great to delve into.

I read 4 books this month, taking my total book count to 17 books, and StoryGraph tells me I’m about 9 books behind my goal. I’m two more books behind than I was last month, then again, I’m not too set on reaching the goal, as I’m just trying to see if I can read more books than I did last year (I read 52 books last year, and you can see a more detailed breakdown of what I read here).

Note: I also wanted to add a note that I input a goal of 60 books for my yearly goal instead of 65 books, so there are going to be some number discrepancies in my wrap-up from last month… Oops 😅

Anyways, here’s what I’ve read this May:

Books I read this month: Last Night At the Telegraph Hotel by Malinda Lo, The Bookshop of Yesterdays by Amy Meyerson, The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, and The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix.

What have you been reading lately? Let me know in the comments below!

Otherwise, I will see you in the next post!

-Erin (:
