2025 Quarter 1 Reading Wrap Up

Hey everyone, I hope you had a great March!

For today’s post, I just wanted to discuss some of the books I’ve read so far in the first quarter of 2025… and honestly, I can’t believe we’re already going into April πŸ˜‚

Anyways, I’ve read 13 books so far this year, which I’m quite proud of ☺️ I’ve been reading a mixture of paperback and ebooks, as well as listening to a few audiobooks, so no specific format, although I’ve been listening to a lot of Freida McFadden books. My partner and I have been making a lot of road trips out to Arizona the past few months to promote his book (Sounds of Yesterday… which you can read more about on his website🎡), and the Freida McFadden audiobooks are the perfect length and bandwidth for these car rides, so we’ve been listening to a lot of them πŸ˜… The only one of her books I read as a paperback was The Housemaid, but all the rest are audiobooks.

Now that there’s some context for that, here’s what I’ve read this year, in order from what I read in January all the way through March:

  1. The Housemaid by Freida McFadden (Adult; Thriller) (Paperback)
  2. The Ex by Freida McFadden (Adult; Thriller) (Audiobook)
  3. The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison (Adult; Fiction) (Paperback)
  4. The Crash by Freida McFadden (Adult; Thriller) (Audiobook)
  5. All Boys Aren’t Blue by George M. Johnson (YA; Non-Fiction Memoir/Essays) (Ebook)
  6. The Inmate by Freida McFadden (Adult; Thriller) (Audiobook)
  7. The Will To Change: Men, Masculinity, and Love by bell hooks (Non-Fiction Essays) (Paperback)
  8. The Fall Risk by Abbey Jimenez (Adult; Romance Short Story) (Ebook)
  9. Holly by Stephen King (Adult; Crime/Horror) (Audiobook)
  10. Just for the Summer by Abbey Jimenez (Adult; Romance) (Ebook)
  11. Curious Tides by Pascale Lacelle (YA; Fantasy) (Paperback)
  12. A Kind of Spark by Elle McNicoll (Middle Grade; Fiction)(Audiobook)
  13. Never Lie by Freida McFadden (Adult; Thriller) (Audiobook)

And that’s it for today’s post!

Thanks for stopping by, and tell me, what have you been reading recently? Or did you just finish a good book? Let me know in the comments below!

Otherwise, I will see you in the next post! πŸ¦₯
